Adventure Washington: Hiking Burch Mountain

Adventure Washington: Hiking Burch Mountain

If you follow our Instagram, you already know that the GreenRush team loves to go on adventures. We hike, climb, and spend as much time outdoors as physically possible. Even though Washington’s weather is becoming much wetter and colder, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stay active.

As we approach Winter, we’ll continue sharing fun activities for you to consider as your next adventure. Head to one of our retail partners and ask for your favorite strain before heading out to Burch Mountain. Day Hiking: North Cascades (Romano – Mountaineers Books)

Green Trails Billy Goat Mountain No. 19

“When the deeper backcountry is under snow (or just too far away) Burch Mountain can provide a beautiful day hike with views aplenty.

From the trailhead, head north up Falls Creek toward Burch Mountain, eventually climbing out of the valley onto the mountain’s flanks. Open views spread out beneath you. Climb ever-upwards, and eventually, the trail reaches the site of an old lookout on the summit of Burch Mountain.

Just outside the Wilderness, this trail is open to hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers.” – WTA
