Bass Canyon Recap (W/ Videos)

This past weekend, 30 of the best electronic music artists performed at the Gorge Amphitheater for the first ever Bass Canyon. A bass-focused festival produced by the bass-god, Excision, this three-day music fest featured the best from PK Sound, three different sets from the bass daddy himself (Excision), plus 28 other performances including sets from Zomboy, Riot Ten, Bear Grillz, and NGHTMRE.

Trampa, 12th Planet, Rusko, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Spag Heddy, Downlink B2B Space Laces, Bro Safari, Herobust, Liquid Stranger, Excision, Rusko, and Boogie T had some of the best sets throughout the weekend. They legitimately shook the shit out of the Gorge and the fans that were there were raging harder than I’ve ever seen. To get an idea of what you missed out on, watch each of the recaps below and make sure to like the official Bass Canyon Facebook page.

X and his team hosted thousands of dedicated headbangers and first-time festival goers for what many considered the best festival they’ve ever been to. If you were there raging with the rest of us, you already know how awesome this festival was. Good weather, great vibes, tens of thousands of bassheads, plus hours and hours of bass music created an atmosphere that was basically heaven on Earth.

More wild & wicked than ever before,
Complete with dancing and devilish decor.
Witches and warlocks and ghosts beware,
Dive into the darkness — enter if you dare…
We’ll dance round and round with our feet off the ground,
as under the moonlight we sway.
The ringmaster plays us one more chilling tune,
and beneath the Big Top we’ll stay!
The circus is calling, but don’t be afraid..
All are welcome at the masquerade.

For one night, and one night only, step right up and embrace the spooky spirit of FreakNight Festival!
