Low Temp Dabs: What You Should Know

Anyone who has been dabbing or smoking concentrates for a long time has most likely taken dabs off a hot nail. Red hot, or even being close to red hot, isn’t the proper way to dab.

Nobody knows any better at first. You attempt to dab like you smoke weed, just put heat to solvent and get high, but through the years of trial and error and learn there is a lot more subtlety and technique to dab the correct way.

If you’ve ever heard of low temp dabbing, now is the time to learn what’ve you’ve been missing. The easiest way to make sure your dab is low temperature is simply by using your stopwatch app on your smartphone. Set it up and fire up your torch. Heat your torch up and when it starts glowing red/orange, hit the lap button.

Now you’re letting the nail cooldown watch your timer.

The amount of time you let the nail cool down really depends on the type of nail, let’s just say it’s quartz. Most quartz nails take at least 45 seconds to cool down before you hit the correct temperature.

If it’s thick like a 4mm, then you will want to wait up to a minute and thirty seconds.

There will be a three to five dab practice period when you’re zeroing the timing of your nail.

If you see the remaining oil in your nail is black or its crusted to the nail, it was too hot when you did you dab. You want a warm brown puddle for remains. This will make for easy clean up with Q-tips. If you didn’t get it all cleaned quite quickly enough, you can burn off the rest with your torch with ease.

Things To Know When Buying Dabs In Washington

Even when it comes to concentrates and other extracts, many people are currently visiting weed stores and asking for whatever has the highest THC. While the THC percentage is in fact a vital part of the purchasing experience, there is more to value than just high percentages.

One of the first and most important things you should be looking for at weed stores is who the experts are.  You’ve got to find budtenders you can trust!

Identify Dabbing Experts

By now you should be shopping for dabs and have gotten used to asking the budtender for information about what they like. If you don’t ask the budtender about what they’re smoking or dabbing, how can you know that they’re not feeding you a blind recommendation? Always engage in a thoughtful conversation with your budtenders so that they can identify themselves as dabbing experts or send you to the right person.

When it comes to RSO, CBD, and other medical marijuana-centric products, it is especially important to ask for a staff member who has experience using and selling these types of items.

It is extremely important to look and listen for a budtender or manager that is educated about the products people are asking about. If a staff member can only describe the products as dank, top-shelf, great, fire, super good, awesome, or any other basic positive adjective, double down on another question to see if they really know if it’s worth spending money on.

Consumers aren’t able to view the product outside of packaging in Washington state so it is extremely important for cannabis industry staff to be able to communicate accurate information. Overdosing on cannabis can ruin someone’s perspective and is one of the major hurdles holding many people back when it comes to legalization.

I follow this simple rule when it comes to dabs. If the budtenders haven’t tried it and nobody actually knows if the product is effective or tastes good, I’ll generally pass until next time. When it comes to our products though, GreenRush extracts with flower and our price point is usually cheaper than other top-shelf extract companies.

Brand Knowledge

There are seemingly thousands of brands that work in cannabis here in Washington. Many of these companies, ours included, offer cannabis in flower and oils. Some even take it a step further by creating edibles, lotions, topicals, and other cannabis-based products. If you keep an eye out for brands that focus more on education, flavor, experience, or lifestyle, you should be able to set yourself up for success.

GreenRush’s extracts are pesticide-free and our facility is known for cleanliness. If you’d like to know specific terpene profiles for our flower or oils, send us a DM on Instagram or Facebook.

Flavor & Terpenes Matter More Than THC %

For the last two years, Washington’s cannabis industry has battled with the importance of the THC percentages. All cannabis in Washington has to get tested at an accredited facility and there have been quite a few issues with this process thus far. Although THC predominately focuses on psychoactive effects, terpenes and THC combine to create a synergistic effect that can dictate specific types of effects or highs.

Adults 21 and over can purchase up to one ounce of usable cannabis flower, 16 ounces of cannabis-infused edibles in solid form, 72 ounces of cannabis drinkables, and 7 grams of cannabis concentrates.

If you’re a registered medical cannabis patient, the limits are:

Three ounces of usable cannabis flower, forty-eight ounces of cannabis-infused edibles in solid form, two hundred sixteen ounces of cannabis drinkables, and twenty-one grams of cannabis concentrates, per the Washington State Department of Health.

Types of Smoking Devices

The original use of cannabis dates back to 500 B.C in Asia, as it was initially used as an herbal medicine rather than getting high. In the history of the United States, cannabis cultivation dates as far back to the Colonial era where it was used for items such as rope and textiles. Because the plant grew fast and had many uses, many countries within this era started growing cannabis.

Around 800 A.D, cannabis was widely used for recreational use in the form of hashish, where the weed was mainly smoked through a pipe. In the United States, people didn’t start using cannabis for recreational use until Mexicans who immigrated to the U.S during the Mexican Revolution introduced it.

In 1937, the United States criminalized cannabis nationwide through the Marijuana Tax Act. Cannabis was completely banned until 1970, when president Nixon repealed the Marijuana Tax act and deemed it as a Schedule I drug. While measures were put in place to enable cannabis to be legally consumed for medical uses, Colorado and Washington were the first states to fully legalize cannabis for recreational use. Currently, there are nine total states that have legalized cannabis.

Even though the legal perception with cannabis is loosening day by day, it is still federally illegal. In addition, many people are still learning and trying to understand cannabis, and this includes the methods of consumption. For people who are trying cannabis for the first time or are experienced, it’s important to know about the different consumption methods to have the best experience possible.

One of the best things about the various consumption methods is that there are many options available to customize the experience. Depending on the consumption method, the cost can vary as some methods will require certain equipment that requires maintenance. For everyone, researching and understanding each way that cannabis can be consumed will guarantee to have the safest and positive experience possible. Before consuming, individuals who are new to cannabis should speak with an industry professional such as a Budtender to have the safest recommendations possible.

Types Of Smoking Devices

Joints

Joints are the most common way to consume cannabis. The method is extremely simple as the desired amount of cannabis is used with rolling paper. Smoking weed in the form of a joint is a great option to control the amount of cannabis that will be consumed.

For first time users, this is a great option because it’s inexpensive and requires little to no equipment to consume. Joints can be found at all dispensaries as they are commonly sold pre-rolled. If there is interest in rolling a custom joint, flower will need to be bought instead. For this option rolling paper, and herb grinding, and filter tip will be needed. While filter tips aren’t required to smoke a joint, they will help the smoke be a bit smoother compared to smoking without one.

Pipes

Similar to using a joint, consuming cannabis through a pipe is extremely simple. As the cannabis is added to the tip of the pipe, it is easy to control the intake. If someone wants to have more control while using a pipe, water-based pipes are a great option because they amplify the control of the airflow. Glass pipes are also popular as they perform the same functions.

One thing to keep in mind with pipes is that they’ll need maintenance from time to time to prevent rust. In a person isn’t willing to clean a pipe, it will eventually break. If a person would rather replace the pipe instead of cleaning it, there are inexpensive options to replace it as small pipes start around $15. For larger pipes, they can be significantly more expensive. In the case of larger pipes, it would be worth it to keep the maintenance up as replacements can get costly.

Vaporizers

For individuals who aren’t comfortable with the health effects of smoking with a pipe or joint, vaporizers are a great option as they heat the cannabis to a minimum temperature to inhale. Using a vaporizer can be described as a smoother and more enjoyable experience compared to consuming in other forms. More importantly, it is easier on the lungs when consuming.

Vaporizer are easy to find at a low price, but they can get expensive quickly depending on personal needs and customization. For individuals looking to try a vaporizer, talking with a budtender at a local dispensary and choosing something small and inexpensive is a great start. If an individual likes this consumption method, it will be easier to find customizable products from there.

Concentrates

Consuming cannabis through the form of a concentrate delivers the most intense high compared to other consumption methods. In addition, it requires a fair amount of equipment which in turn can be quite costly in the long run. Concentrates are great for experienced individuals who know exactly what they are looking for and who are willing to maintain and keep the equipment in good shape. For most consumption methods with concentrates, they will require to have a rig (similar to a bong) in the addition to having nails.

For first time consumers, having cannabis in the form of a concentrate isn’t recommended. It’s best to start with a joint or vaporizer, and from there to work up to concentrates. Before investing in certain equipment, trying from a friend’s piece of equipment and speaking with several budtenders is a great start.

Overall, consumption methods come down to each individual’s needs. There are many ways for a person to customize the consumption method to have the best experience as possible. For first time consumers, it’s best to be honest with what you’re looking for and to get a professional opinion from a Budtender at a local dispensary. The most knowledge an individual has about cannabis, it will lead to a more safer and positive experience.

Learn About Dabbing & Concentrates

Dabbing has seriously taken off in popularity over the last few years. For all kinds of people, they are a simple and easy way to smoke. They allow you to save weed while getting really high. This method of smoking concentrates offers a variety of types of oil that can be smoked. While some might be better than others, there are enough consistencies or types to meet everyone’s needs and desires.

How Concentrates Are Made

Concentrates are created by extracting the THC off of the plant matter. This can require the use of Butane, or another solvent, although there are other methods of extraction as well. Commercial companies utilize a system referred to as a “closed-loop system.” This means that the system has no openings for the flammable gas used during extraction to leak out. Before the commercialization of cannabis extraction, people would use cans of Butane and glass tubes to extract their own concentrates. This is exceptionally dangerous and should not be tried at home.

In a “closed-loop system” though all of the solvents are placed in a tank that has been pressurized. This tank is hooked up to a tube holding the plant matter. The solvents are then pushed through the extraction tube pulling THC off of the cannabis and into a catch jar. This has one huge advantage according to High Times, the solvents can be recycled.

How To Dab

In order to take a dab you need a dab tool, usually has a pointy end and a spoon on the other depending on the type. You can also buy glass dabbers that are a little bit fancier, but look better when paired with a hand-blown rig. To go with the dabber you will need a quartz banger or titanium nail. Your local smoke shop or rec store should be able to set you up with all of the necessary materials.

Dab rigs also come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Silicone rigs that are portable and indestructible can be purchased on Amazon for as low as $20. Hand-blown glass rigs vary in price and size dramatically, although entry-level models can be found for as low as $30 at some stores. You can also choose to buy a high-quality rig and spend your entire life savings. The choice is yours. I use a custom disc golf piece that was blown by a friend.

A rig and a dabber leave you wondering where your concentrate is supposed to go. That is where a quartz banger or titanium nail comes in. Personally, I prefer a quartz banger over the titanium nail because the flavor of the cannabis is preserved better. They do not stay hot for as long. Titanium nails have a bad habit of getting stuck inside a rig, which can lead to breaking at that joint. Titanium nails do have a durability advantage over quartz, but the choice between the two is personal preference.

You are now almost ready to dab! Lastly, you are going to need a propane or butane torch to take a dab. Heat either your nail or banger up for 5-10 seconds, maybe less depending on how hot your torch is. Take the concentrate that you have placed on the dab tool and drop or scrape it onto the nail or banger. Now inhale! Those sweet terpenes should begin filling your lungs. Careful, your first dab will probably kick your ass.

Concentrate Types

Concentrates come in a variety of forms. Textures vary based on extraction methods used and the temperature at which the product was purged of any impurities.

Butane Hash Oil (BHO), is the most common form of the concentrate. It has a gummy texture to it. Think honey with THC in it. The same consistency and stickiness, but you can smoke it. This form is hard to handle and can be difficult to separate into manageable dabs. The temperature at which the product is purged influences the consistency of the product. Because of its sticky consistency, oil has a tendency to be the most affordable of the concentrates. There are other consistencies that BHO can come in.

Shatter starts out as a slab of concentrate spread out on a sheet pan. Usually in one solid piece. It is then broken down into single grams to be sold to consumers. Honeycomb BHO looks exactly how it sounds. This type of BHO can easily be worked with because it is a lot less sticky than oil. Finally, depending on the extraction method,  BHO can also turn into a crumble. Crumble looks like crumbs of THC that can be easily scooped to dab.

Cannabinoids can also be extracted using CO2 as the solvent. Utilizing high priced botanical extractors with a combination of pressure and carbon dioxide to divide plant matter, according to Leafly. Hands down, one of the best ways to convert cannabis into usable compounds. This method leaves behind an oil of amber colors that can be smoked using the ever popular vaporizer pens.

Possibly my favorite way to dab is with Rosin. This method utilizes both heat and pressure to pull vaporize the terpenes off the plant matter. You can create Rosin at home, according to Leafly, with a hair straightener and parchment paper, although you would have better luck purchasing it from a marijuana store. The result is collected into parchment paper. This technique does not require ANY solvents. Meaning, all you are smoking is THC. This is method retains the most flavor in the cannabis. You truly get to experience all of the terpenes within the strain.

Clean Your Banger

Remember to keep your banger clean. You can do this with Qtips and 99% isopropyl alcohol. This helps preserve the flavor of whatever you are dabbing and prevents flare-ups when heating your banger.

Dabbing might be the most cost-effective way to smoke. You don’t waste weed like with blunts. You experience all of the terpenes within the cannabis without that nasty lighter taste. Finally, you get exceptionally high off just a bit of weed.

Be A Shallow Shopper

Not all cannabis is equal. In Washington state, the way certain brands produce and process cannabis can be the difference between sitting on a shelf for a year or selling out in a single day. If the weed looks good and you can smell it through the bag or through the glass, buy it. When it comes to GreenRush, there really is no question. When retailers place their order, we package fresh cannabis flower or fresh cannabis extracts and send it right on over.

If the cannabis buds you see in the store are covered in trichomes or if the flowers feel or sound dense when you shake the container,  buy it. Even if the cannabis ends up being a poor smoke, you’ll at least know more about what you’re going for. Good looking weed with lower THC numbers is generally always a better situation than higher THC cannabis that is cheaper, more dry, and outdoor.

Buying Dabs & Flower Cannabis at Satori – Fremont

Fremont has one of the best nightlife scenes in all of Seattle. Thousands of people frequent the area’s bars and venues for shows and other local entertainment. With so many tourists visiting the city’s 50+ pot shops, many shops have gotten lazy and their budtenders are focusing on selling cannabis that only has the “highest THC”.

Fremont doesn’t usually have many tourists besides those visiting the troll. When we’ve been in the area, we’ve been able to avoid those kinds of headaches thanks to the service provided by Have a Heart.

Now, Satori has taken over!

Although THC is a huge part of the cannabis purchasing equation, there is much more you should be looking for than just high percentages. When you’re in Washington or specifically in Fremont, THC doesn’t matter as much due to the inconsistencies of the testing at the state-certified labs. The labs still can’t seem to get things right which is why we spend so much time sharing updates with you here on the blog and also on our social media.

One of the first things you should be looking for at Satori – Fremont is who the actual experts are. You’ve got to find budtenders you can trust. Luckily, Satori has a solid medical marijuana background and each of their employees have extensive experience guiding consumers through the world of cannabis.

Find Budtenders You Trust

There really is no excuse for poor budtenders anymore. Satori has yet to show us a single bad experience and we’re excited to add their store into our partner network. People do have bad days sometimes but not really at Satori. They keep it chill, help you with some education, and always plug you with a solid product. It doesn’t hurt to ask for the most experienced budtender or to just simply ask for GreenRush. 😉

GreenRush Strains For Cinco De Mayo

It can be hard to identify good budtenders so we’ll help you cut through the fat. You’re going to need to be ok with asking some questions and using cannabis common sense. If a budtender can only describe weed as “fire” or “dank”, you might want to take what they say with a grain of salt. Would your waiter at a restaurant describe food that way?

Find someone who can communicate with you and other people. They need to be able to talk to you in a way that is professional and accurate. Being able to articulate strain knowledge in a digestible manner is huge and many stores overlook this valuable asset. Thankfully we can count on Satori to connect the dots for consumers.

Terpenes and THC both matter. When you’re talking with a budtender, ask them to tell you about flavor profiles, terpenes, and what genetics make up the strains you like. These types of questions will help you learn about what you like, identify what you don’t, and can help you increase the chance of having a better experience. You can’t look at the product outside of packaging in Washington, so budtenders are extra important to relay product information. Finding someone who knows all of this stuff is tricky. It takes time, patience, and you’ve got to be willing to be taught something new.

Terpenes > THC Numbers

Although THC packs the psychoactive effects, terpenes and THC combined dictates the specific effects strain by strain. Terpenes produce the aromas we smell and taste with cannabis. Citrus aromas come from terpenes myrcene and limonene. Hazes have terpinolene. Pine aromas come from pinene. Some of these terpenes help more THC cross the blood-brain barrier, which is why a strain can be more effective, despite having low THC numbers. If you find out what terpenes were present in the weed you like, you can shop specifically for that with other brands and strains.

The White Rabbit - Lynnwood Has Great Deals & Knowledgeable Staff

Cannabis Brand Knowledge

There are over a thousand cannabis farms, labs, brands, and other businesses in Washington. Many of these companies offer more than one strain or product so it’s important to be up to date on each one. The majority of products can be found online via brand websites or social media. Satori doesn’t have digital assets created for their Fremont store but their other stores have menus that are probably similar to the one in Seattle. Satori utilizes their social media platforms to educate consumers on new products, current offerings, deals, plus much more.

Level Up Your Experience!

The overwhelming majority of people still don’t know a damn thing about cannabis. THC matters. Terpenes matter. Moisture, hand-trimming, and trichomes all matter! Until you know more about your cannabis and begin experiencing the different types of flavors and highs, you can really only learn so much. Go visit Satori, locate a budtender you vibe with, and take a leap of faith.

Photo Recap Of The 47th Annual Northwest Folklife Festival

The allure of spending the Memorial Day weekend in the city brought me to the 47th annual Northwest Folklife Festival. Free admission, fantastic food, and energy made my an unexpected revelrous time. Festivals double as a new plug to satisfy my musical needs. I fiend for new sounds even when some of my favorite rappers like Raz Simone and Grynch drop long-awaited projects.

I was joined by Joey ‘J-Ping’ Brabo and Taylor Hart, friends of GreenRush and members of Respect My Region. It’s not a day with the RMR crew without rolling something up and taking some dabs. After J-Ping and myself took some rosin dabs and dabs of GreenRush Mt. Rainier sugar wax,  we picked up Taylor from the Pot Stop in Fremont and headed towards Seattle Center.

Friday is the first day of the festival and is the most low-key. Many vendor spots are still open and the grounds are noticeably empty, but the stages and performers were still lively for the entire time we roamed through the art booths, clothes vendors, and food tents. Friday was basically spent eating our way through the festival grounds. The first stop was a Vietnamese stand offering Banh mi’s, chicken skewers, and a few other Vietnamese dishes.

A Bahn Mi is a sandwich, it’s common Vietnamese street food. It’s usually chicken or pork with cucumber, cilantro, carrots, broccoli sprouts, mayo, and served on a baguette. The bread was warm and crunchy. The chicken was tender, while the veggies added a fresh crunch to each bite. A great first meal for the weekend.

Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife Festival

While we walked around and enjoyed our Vietnamese food, one of the acts that caught my ear was Inner-City Medicine Show, a three-piece blues and jazz band. I’m a sucker for anything with a stand-up bass guitar.

My First Time At The Northwest Folklife Festival

After Inner-City Medicine Show played a couple songs, J-Ping introduced me to beignets. A beignet is a French pastry made from deep-fried choux pastry dough, that was made famous in New Orleans cafes.  They’re light and fluffy, covered in powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, and a fruit jelly.

Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife FestivalThis donut-crepe hybrid that was once unknown to me, is now one of my favorite pastries. The dough is airy and the powdered sugar is sweet and fluffy, the whole thing is like a delicious pillow. While the beignets settled, we meandered through the artists’ booths and munched on artisanal chocolates. Orange creme, salted caramel, espresso and cheesecake chocolates were all so rich, only one got completely finished. But the unique flavor experiences made them worth the money.

Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife Festival

One of my favorite northwest artists, Justin Hillgrove was there. other artists that I had work I enjoyed were Chris Paulsen’s pottery and Jesse Link’s paintings. Many of Link’s paintings are aquarium themed, my favorite was creepy red octopus tied up with a noose.

Aramis O. Hamer is the painter who painted the Rihanna painting below. The red and yellow colors spoke to me and I liked the old-school pin-up girl art style. Hamer confirmed this by stating the painting was inspired by Marilyn Monroe.

Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife Festival

Hamer talked about working with pot shops on various projects in the past, as well as expressing interest in live painting sessions, like when Perry Porter painted a mural during our Respect My Region’s 7 Year Anniversary.

Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife Festival

It wasn’t long before we continued to stuff food down our faces. I grabbed shrimp and mango taco while Taylor and J-Ping waited in another line.  It was one of the better seafood tacos I’ve had in my life. Delicious and juicy shrimp, fresh cilantro, red peppers, onions, and a chili mango vinaigrette. The corn tortilla was cooked perfectly and set the whole dish off.

Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife FestivalWhile I was eating my taco and taking pictures for this article, I caught the attention of one of the cooks in the neighboring noodle tent. A man who identified himself as ‘Moe Noodles,’ asked what I was taking pictures for. When I told him about RMR, he asked if he could be in the article, and I happily obliged. He was all smiles and started flexing his noodle cooking prowess for the camera. People like him have infectious energy and make my job much easier and less awkward.

After visiting with Moe, J-Ping and Taylor greeted me with delicious treats dipped and drizzled in chocolate. T had strawberries dipped in white and milk chocolate, and J-Ping had a piece of cheesecake dipped in chocolate and topped with raspberries and white chocolate drizzle. I can’t speak for the cheesecake, but the strawberry dipped in white chocolate was one of the better things I tasted all weekend. The strawberry itself was so ripe and juicy it made me do a double take.

I went to the festival early by myself on Saturday. At the Mercer Street entrance, I was greeted by a group of dancers in lederhosen and a bandleader with an accordion. It was just nice listening to music I had no emotional connection to at all. I just stayed and went where my ears took me. My first day was lead by my stomach, but today was lead in my ears. Several times throughout the festival, the music made me felt like I was on the set of a Pirates of the Caribbean film.

It’s not a festival in my book without some pork sliders. Tender pork, tangy barbeque sauce, slaw and a plain Hawaiian roll make for something that’s so simple you can make it at home but is delicious anywhere and always.

All of the best performances were along the sidewalks and vendor booths. This is one of the best parts about Folklife, you don’t even have to use a schedule to have a great time. You can just let your senses guide you and you’re bound to have a great time.

Everywhere you went there were happy families and people dancing. There was one drum circle outside of the armory that brought together a crowd of fifty or so people, some breaking into dance as the rest would circle around them and cheer them on like a scene from Stomp The Yard.

This best act on a stage I saw in the two days was Tres Leches, a Mexican punk jam band. Two guitarists and a drummer would riff to an ecstatic crowd. They didn’t have a lot of energy on stage, but their music was rockin’. The Northwest Folklife Festival is free to attend, they just ask for a $10-$20 donation. Cheap admission lets me spend more money on food and tipping the artists that caught my attention. Eating And Jamming My Way Through The Northwest Folklife Festival

Good Morning Bedlam was my favorite act I saw all weekend, and I caught them on my way out of the festival.  A midwestern folk band that had a lot of soul and emotion accompanying their sound.

Good Morning Bedlam was throwing down some heartfelt folk tunes and I was bummed they were getting drowned out by the stage behind them, so I decided to buy their album, and it was a pleasant thing to listen to on the drive home, it was not mad about the $10 I threw in their guitar case. I decided to grab a glazed lemon biscuit for the walk back to my car. It was fluffy and warm, while the glaze was sweet, light with a real lemon flavor.

All in all, I had a great time at the Northwest Folklife Festival. If I’m around Seattle for Memorial Weekend next year, you can bet I’ll be back. Next time, I’ll research and plan out my trip in advance to take advantage of the cultural theme instead of just winging it.

A Real Review Of Blue Rush OG From GreenRush

Blue Rush OG is a GreenRush staple. A short and squatty version of Blue Dream, Blue Rush OG brings together Blue Dream with Pineapple OG. This terp sauce isn’t sauce at all, it’s more like crumbly wax that shines brightly in the light. Maybe it’s supposed to say terp sugar? These waxy crystals aren’t that sticky, which can make them more tricky to work on your dab tool. A scoop will be the best-shaped tool to get the job done easily.

The Blue Rush OG doesn’t have much of a smell. Light floral with an occasional berry note. However, the flavor will slap you in the mouth. Berries and pineapples overwhelmed my pallet as I exhaled a cloud of smoke. Taking a second dab to confirm and that flavor was front and center once again. It’s interesting that this wax has such little aroma, but a powerful flavor.

This strain is a definite mood enhancer. Even after a long day, a couple dabs of the Blue Rush OG calmed me down and put my mindset in a better place so I could squeeze out a few more hours of work. I recommend using this strain before going out for the night. It’s bound to enhance any concert, comedy show, or anything else you’re attending, especially if you’re going out for Memorial Day weekend, whether that be out drinking, boating, whatever.

A Real Review Of Blue Rush OG THCA Crystalline

Don’t let these little crystals scare you. It’s only cannabis despite its appearance. This is what happens when you legalize cannabis, science gets involved. These crystals are pure THCA. Most people don’t know what THC is, it’s the main psychoactive chemical that gets you high. THCA is actually non-psychoactive until it’s decarboxylated. That’s a fancy word for saying burning or vaping. Heat turns the THCA into THC, allowing you to get stoned. Ingesting THCA crystals wouldn’t get you high.

THCA is created in an interesting way. The base extracted material is placed in a climate controlled environment and the crystals grow out of the material like icicles in a blizzard. THCA Crystalline is a pure isolated version of the chemical. It provides a strong high that is almost void of any terpenes. This product is all about its effects.

These crystals present a pleasantly sweet flavor that I wasn’t expecting. The high hits you directly in the dome, like a Halo 2 headshot. The high comes on fast and lasts a while. What I love about these crystals is how well they mix with other concentrates. Find a nice terpy sauce to pair with the THCA crystals for a flavorful and extra potent dabbing experience.
